Communities are a vital part of our world. They offer us freedom and security, encourage tolerance and trust and foster a shared connections with others. Yet our communities are in danger, community spirit is being lost.

Glastonbury is a unique experiment in community living. It is an extraordinarily positive place where people of all ages and cultures mix with a fluidity that is rarely seen outside of the Festival. It fosters collaborations and friendships across boundaries that are not normally crossed. It is also very pro-active in looking at ways of living that are more sustainable, more creative, more community minded.
