    I was in The British Army when this happened stationed in Germany.We were confined to camp for several days. Then, we were issued with rifles and ammunition and loaded up our trucks and trooped off across Europe.Finally arriving not far from Czechoslovakia. We set up in location in some crappy little village and there we stayed for about a week, until out of the blue we were told to pack up and head off back to our camp (back in Germany). It was a very close call, Britain almost went to war with the Russians over this invasion.Very little of what the army was up to was reported in the press.
