On August 24, 2010 at 05:06 UT, an unidentified flying object is passed in front of
LASCO C3 coronagraph of the SOHO spacecraft.
Although the image was exposed for only 19 seconds, the object has left a long and tortuous trail.
What could it be?

Ummm...i actually saw this on SOHO. Just happened to be watching the latest .gif movie for that day and caught a quick glimpse of it...only, when i saw it it had a black digital narrow stripe running down the center of it. About 3/4 of the image was visible. i tried to do a playback to slow it down, but suspiciously, those frames were "unavailable"!! sooo...i dont think the tampering of the image was on the "posting" end of it(wink, wink)!!

Please Look in the description you will see a link to the original soho source image and also the enhanced photo, both were used in this video, the original source used 1st then the enhanced version towards the end! Both images are linked above to soho.

soho takes a snap of the sun every few minutes. the object comes from the view near us towards the sun . then travels around the sun then off into space the opposite side. so in a few minutes the ufo traveled 93 million miles towards the sun. then it traveled 875.000 miles around the sun then about 80 million miles off the opposite side in just a few minutes. i believe this image has been tampered with because it's not on any official sites that my research has discovered. please if anyone has this information then be my guest and post me it. but for now i believe this to be fake
