While on holiday in Papua New Guinea with my wife, I filmed this flying creature. It just looked like a bird from a distance, but when it flew directly overhead we saw that it quite large (wingspan about 10 feet) and it had no feathers. This is the first part when I grabbed my camera while it was directly overhead.

Its got me curious to find out what kind of bird it is, it does look like a bird, not sure if its a Frigate Bird, because if you watch footage of them flying they have an obviouse forked tail and an Albatross doesn't have a long skinny tail. and as for size we can only guess, the ones that filmed it said it looked about 10 feet across, but thats really hard to determine without seeing next to something we know the size of.

It is not even a bird. It is high probabilty that's nothing more than just artificial , remote controlled reconstruction of prehistoric flying reptile made by National Geographic or another Discovery-like tv station.

An albatross with a 20 foot wing span huh? Pretty big albatross! :) According to locals on this island (and I'm assuming this is Umboi Island, Papau New Guinea) these things can reach wing spans of up to 20 feet... Sorry (and I really mean that) but its an albatross. Freeze one of the first frames. There is a kind with a long thin tail. Albatross's are ENORMOUS. Google images and see if you can find one with a person holding up the wings.
