Tourists on this boat ride in Banff Alberta Canada got an interesting surprise when a Sasquatch made an appearance on the shoreline.

If you freeze at 29 secs you see the man walking away. The thinness and uniformity of the legs shows a bloke in a romper suit.

That's called zoom. As you zoom in, the field of view gets smaller and smaller. As it is impossible to hold a camera absolutely still, the slight movements are magnified as your field of view gets smaller. If you were to take a picture of the beach with a normal lense, (which means about what your eyes see) and the camera were to move a quater inch, it wouldn't be as noticeable as when you zoom in close. Lets say you are using a ten power lense (images appear 10 larger than what the eye sees) and you move the camera a quarter of an inch, that would magnify your movements by a factor of 10... The result is that with a hand held camera (this is why tripods are needed for close in zooming) as you zoom in the image is going to look shakier ande shakier.

I think it's time to go back and see the doctor and get your meds adjusted.. Tell them you have unusual fits of anger and are having problems controlling yourself.

Other than the obvious guy in a suit, why is it that it jumps from a nice clear video, to a jumpy piece of garbage, then back to clear?just asking.
