My wife and I filmed this large flying creature on the beach near the Malagan Beach resort in Papua New Guinea. The wings were smooth and pointy with no feathers and the tail was long and smooth like a giant rat tail.

A frigate with a 20 foot wing span huh? Pretty big frigate! :) According to locals on this island (and I'm assuming this is Umboi Island, Papau New Guinea) these things can reach wing spans of up to 20 feet... Sorry folks, this is a Frigate bird. Very common in tropical island areas.

I have seen one of these before, it is a pterosaur. I seen it in Northwest Ohio during late July in 2002.
