Description:
This is a time lapse sequence of the constellation Orion rising above the Mojave Desert during the 2010 Geminid Meteor Shower. It was shot at the El Mirage Dry Lake Bed OHV Area on December 13, 2010.
It was short earlier in the evening before all sunlight had disappeared so the meteors that do show on this sequence are faint. But they are there.
