First, something I noticed in these images (this is important!):

It's definitely NOT a lens flare. Lens flares DON'T get blocked by the clouds. This makes me more suspicious of what this object is.

Secondly- As I was taking these photos, they were chem-trailing towards the sunset. I don't think this is a coincidence.

Perhaps this object can be better viewed along the horizon during sunset.

Third- It looks like the object has moved a little from the sun than in my other photos.
