Our newest venture will be tracing the history of the Inca back to their origins, which include Tiwanaku and Puma punku in Bolivia, and possibly the coast of Peru, where these elongated skulls come from. Some of the early chronicles of the Spanish indicate that the Inca had elongated heads, making them an especially unique group of people.

No wonder they were advanced...they were "ahead" of everyone. Would love to see the helmets they wore. They probably had to go in open areas to think. Sleep must've been uncomfortable. Coneheads.

good post..wanted to hear about the thickness as I heard double platelet thickness equals natural doliocepalic skull and single thickness indicates the head elongation process.obviously these are elongated though.to increase brain capacity,particularly around the thalmus/3rd eye region.the d'estes indulged in it..they were close to the pope.popes have active 3rd eyes often
