    It is called lens flare and is caused by a bright reflection from something off camera like headlights from the road.

    @Tommyr if you are so sure ghosts don't exist, you need to take my friend Andrew's ghost tour of Boston. He does this bit in a certain basement with a flashlight, where the ghost turns it on and off, and brightens and dims it, in response to specific questions (anyone on the tour can ask their own questions). He's a walking library of Boston history, and not one to fabricate nonsense. And don't forget the Parker House room 303. That was the basis for the movie 1408.

    I think you've got it my friend, somethings definitely's not right about that very deliberate attempt to catch a or several shadows at that strange angle, plus it was a group of objects that were moving!

    Reflection from the monitor is the likely reason for this attempt at duping the masses. Nice try.
