Dead are men of Jewish men of letters drunk with old wine whilst living are Gentiles. A question
Hello! My name is Gordon, I'm watching some of your videos and I enjoy your understanding. I was wondering if you could help me with a parable. I think I understand it, but I would take your word over my own understanding. This is it:
Jesus said, "This heaven will pass away, and the one above it will pass away. The dead are not alive, and the living will not die. In the days when you consumed what is dead, you made it what is alive. When you come to dwell in the light, what will you do? On the day when you were one you became two. But when you become two, what will you do?"
Is Jesus talking about when a man allows his ego to take the place of his true self? The man becomes two faces, a face of skin, and a false face? Or is it when a man has two masters, and he must learn to serve one? Thank you for your time!
