Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad took to the podium at the U.N. General Assembly Thursday - one day after two American hikers were released from prison in Tehran - to deliver a speech strongly condemning the United States.
Again as usual a number of people chose to feign righteous indignation and walk out of the room, but that aside, Ahmadinejad made some very good points, and was well received with vigorous applause by the majority of remaining delegates at the end of his speech. Iâ€™m personally not a fan of the United Nations; I think it too will fall just as did the League of Nations.

Whose economies rely on waging wars and selling arms?â€¢
Who provoked and encouraged Saddam Hussein to invade and impose an eight-year war on Iran, and who assisted and equipped him to deploy chemical weapons against our cities and our people?â€¢
Who used the mysterious September 11 incident as a pretext to attack Afghanistan and Iraq , killing, injuring, and displacing millions in two countries with the ultimate goal of bringing into its domination the Middle East and its oil resources?â€¢
Who nullified the Breton Woods system by printing trillions of dollars without the backing of gold reserves or equivalent currency? A move that triggered inflation worldwide and was intended to prey on the
