Soyuz to the Skies: Russian rocket blasts off from Western pad

Europe has launched the first parts of it very own sat nav system into space, with a little help from its friends. A Russian Soyuz rocket blasted off from a French space base in the tropics of South America, carrying the first EU made satellites.
