From an altitude of 248 miles, external cameras on the International Space Station captured new views of Hurricane Rina at 3:18 p.m. EDT on Oct. 26, 2011, as the storm churned 180 miles south-southeast of Cozumel, Mexico. At the time the ISS passed overhead, Rina had been downgraded to a Category 1 hurricane, packing winds of 85 miles an hour. The National Hurricane Center is forecasting Rina to turn to the northeast toward the northwest coast of Cuba over the weekend after it passes north.
