More RT footage: Riot cops tear gas Occupy Oakland strike

According to witnesses, police ringed various protester strongholds throughout the city, including a number of abandoned buildings. Once in position, they attempted to smoke them out, using flashbangs and tear gas to unnerve demonstrators. Much more serious were allegations that police were deploying rubber bullets - with reports that at least one person was taken to hospital after being shot.
