Description:

During the Mayan Crystal Skulls ceremony at Serpent Mound yesterday, a local Native American whose name I believe is George, sang a beautiful prayer song for us. In the beginning he said that the crystal skulls were powerful, they called to him to be there. The Mayan Elder said that it means that we are from the Milky Way. The Mayan Elder is the man in the light brown jacket who is walking in front of George, smudging with his small crystal skull. The large skulls were placed under the sacred tree. Just prior to this, George sang and drummed all the way around the serpent mound. He was about 15 feet behind me and it was heavenly. As we all walked around the mound with the Mayan Elder leading, many were drumming, chanting, singing, shouting cheers...a beautiful rainbow appeared! The combination of all of these elements built up in my chest and I started sobbing tears of joy! Feeling so strongly "I've been waiting for this for SO LONG!" Relief, joy, hope, love just came pouring in and out of me. (Note: my battery died, that's why I didn't get to the end of his song. Sorry for the low volume, this is my digital camera and it doesn't have a good microphone).

Thanks man. Great that you give us a glimp of the ceremony's. The quality is not important. Just the feeling to be there for a moment is so important for everybody who cares. Just post whatever you have. Wisch you all the best.
