Each year, Americans prepare a whopping 45 million turkeys for the traditional Thanksgiving Day feast. However, for those who decide to center their meal around a fried turkey, the potential hazards of cooking that dinner in the turkey fryer can be far worse than putting on a few extra pounds. UL is urging consumers to take extra caution if they are going to use turkey fryers this holiday season. Title of the video should read, 'Evil NWO Turkey Fryers!' :p But seriously, who frys a whole Turkey, especially with the set up they used?! Looked like Japanese writing on the fryer, but I usually see these 'fryers' used for slow cooking and soups... Maybe even some yummy Ramen or Udon! This method is obviously dangerous... Whoever invented turkey fryers like this probably uses knives for toothbrushes! The more sensible design would surely be a cube shaped one, with extra surface area and less height for stability?

Does the same warning apply to deep thin turkey fryers?
