This provides a brief history of Mayan research beginning in the 1400s. The original Mayan Calendar end date, as proposed by Harvard Archeologist and Anthropologist Michael Coe in the 1960's, was December 24, 2011. It was revised later in the 1980's.

HA!!! Morons. I cant wait until the calendar turns over to 2013, then all these little wastes of life can finally move onto the next doomsday scenario, this one is getting old. The best thing will be the asinine excuses these bags of trash will come up with when their prophesies dont come true.Hilarious!!!!!
