People should have listened to people like David Icke and William Cooper who said all this in the late 90's. Then we have Alex Jones and people like him. They all said it. The reference, as I understand it, is to enemy combatants (ie: prisoners of war). This is not a reference to US citizens who have not forfeited their citizenship by joining the military of another country or known terrorist organization.

Until it is applied to our citizens, I don't see a problem. I do have a problem with civil rights groups and the fear mongering press promoting the idea that enemy soldiers who were captured during combat should have the same legal rights as American citizens here in our own country. I am in favor of them being held until the relevant conflict is over and/or the represented terrorist organization has been destroyed.

The idea of continuing to release enemy combatants to return to their regiments to kill more American soldiers or citizens is ludicrous.
