12/27/2011 -- SPECTACULAR display of lightning and multiple eruptions @ Sakurajima Volcano

December 28, 2011 -- @ Sakurajima Volcano in Japan, several impressive eruptions occurred which produced large bolts of static discharge lightning, heavy clouds of ash, and large amounts of lava. The flashes are so bright.. the cameras adjust for daytime/freeze momentarily .
