Most men to become obsolete?

Most people think society evolves on its own but rarely do major social changes occur on their own. Generation after generation had a foundational concept of family in western culture. Yet in less than two generations that concept has all but disappeared in the sense of any general consensus of what a family really is. And with the changing economy, feminism and bio-technology the changes we have seen since the 1950s are nothing compared to what they will be in the next couple of generations.
