Full Moon of 8 March 2012 - The Netherlands

Full Moon of 8 March 2012 in Pijnacker, The Netherlands. This evening was a full moon, one of 13 each calendar year. It is at 18 degrees and just so happens we also had a solar flare sending in a CME of particles. This may explain the cool spiral or halo effect around the moon on one of the pictures.

On the solar flare note, which stems from the sun of course. This Virgo full moon is in opposition to Pisces, the sun!
