Mate I think you're wrong.For starters it's untethered.Secondly its a fair way behind the shuttle and thirdly,its rotating.And if you watch you will see it rotate upwards then instantly sideways.Plus the fact that NASA (Never Admit Somethings Alien) removed it says its NOT theirs.Just my opinion.

This is the video probe from NASA to shoot footage of the shuttle from the outside! No mystery there!
