I read a lot of theories to be correct but few are questioning the timing here other than the occult angle. On May 1st many foreign news agencies were reporting that Gaddafi's son and three grandchildren were killed during a NATO airstrike. Gaddafi was visiting the residence at the time but was not injured.

This story was buried or never verified by our major news services. It would make Obama seem incompetent as a military leader what with a failed assassination attempt and more killing of innocents, all on the heels of the birther debate which proved a better story than our initial involvement in Libya BTW.

Even if that story were inaccurate, The NY tabloid that I glanced at recently had a twelve page Osama extravaganza and then after the celebrity gossip pages I found a tiny blurb that stated the U.S. led NATO forces had performed 2,200 air strikes on Libya to date. That was probably around May 4th.

All this makes me wonder if the death of Gaddafi was to be their May Day announcement and instead had to dust off this Osama tale on short notice to cover up their failed attempt.
