Atleast 12 people have been killed and around 50 injured during the new Batman Dark Knight movie premier in Denver Colorado. I had just seen a video about Alex JOnes saying the movie was full of NWO symbolism..don't know if that had anything to do with this event....

Here is the news on yahoo today....

You can goto this link and watch videos on the event at yahoo..cannot embed the video on news story..

Chaos and confusion inside the Colorado movie theater shooting

Moviegoer Jennifer Seeger was watching the new Batman movie from the second row when the gunman, wearing what appeared to be a gas mask and body armor, burst into theater 9.

"He came in and he threw in the gas can and then I knew it was real," Seeger told NBC News. "Then he shot the ceiling. Right after he shot the ceiling he pointed the gun right at me. At that point I drove into the aisle and I got lucky because he didn't shoot me.

"Then he started to shoot people behind me and the bullets were falling on my head. It was burning my head it was so fresh. I could smell gunpowder. At that point he went up the stairs.

"He started at the very corner of the screen. And then he worked his way all the way through the back and back down. Like all the way to the top of the stairs and back down."

Police say the gunman's rampage killed a dozen and wounded at least 50 at the Century 16 theater in Aurora, Colo., about 10 miles east of downtown Denver.

Reports identify the shooter as James Holmes, a 24-year-old white male.

"People were running, screaming, scrambling, popcorn was flying in the air ... people were falling to the ground," witness Robert Jones told The Denver Post.

A 15-year-old, also in theater 9, told Denver's KCNC that he saw an opportunity to escape as the gunman reloaded his rifle.

"We kind of crawled down the stairs and ran," he said.

Moviegoer Quentin Caldwell said they were about 15 minutes into the film when he heard a very distinct "pop, pop, pop, pop."

"My wife jumped, and I just kind of sat there like, 'Oh, it was probably just really good special sound effects,'" he told CNN.

The Caldwells were in an adjacent theater when bullets from theater 9 pierced the walls.

"Everybody thought at first that it was part of the movie, like it was just something that was going on like a promotional stunt or something," Caldwell told CNN. "So at first everybody was kind of dumbfounded."

The gunman reportedly deployed tear gas in theater 9 before beginning his shooting spree. When Caldwell's wife, a former EMT, said she smelled tear gas, the couple started telling patrons they needed to escape.

"There were people still sitting there waiting for the movie to continue," he said. "I looked at them like, 'This is real, there's something wrong, we need to leave now.'"

Caldwell, a Marine, said the theater parking lot was chaos. Officers put the wounded into patrol cars and rushed them to nearby hospitals.

"There were wounded everywhere," he said.

Hours later, the 15-year-old boy who escaped questioned how a staple of summer fun could go so wrong.

"When something like this happens at a theater, you wonder if it is safe or not," he said.

The movie plot was about poisoning the water supply to Gotham City and making all the citizens insane and bringing "order through chaos"

Alot like the flouride pumped into our water...comments to the movie were banned all around the internet...like I said there is something more to this event...

The Dark Knight Rises: critics need saving from death threats

Rottentomatoes.com shuttered comments section for the film after some reviewers received threats.

"The Dark Knight Rises" reviewers apparently need Batman’s cape to fend off the flame wars from angry fans.

Those brave enough to give Christopher Nolan’s flick a lukewarm reception are feeling the wrath of the comic book character’s loyal supporters, two days ahead of Friday’s opening.

So much that film review site Rottentomatoes.com shuttered the comments section for the film today after some reviewers received death threats, The Los Angeles Times reported.

“Death threats, rape threats are not OK, and that’s what was happening,” Rotten Tomatoes editor Matt Atchity told the LA Times. “At one point, we had seven people dedicated to (moderating) comments.”

It all started when long-time critic Marshall Fine rebelled and gave "The Dark Knight Rises" a poor review.

He called it “grandiose, not grand.”

“Nolan gets so caught up in creating an epic adventure that he hammers the ‘epic’ and neglects a crucial component: the adventure,” Fine writes.

His wasn’t the only poor review, although the movie has still received 86 percent positive reaction overall from 113 critics who have offered opinions.

Fine’s opinion still didn’t sit well with some and commenters crashed his website, so Rotten Tomatoes removed its link.

They also pulled his review in an attempt to cool heads.

“As expected, we saw a mountain of comments come in about his review, and we’re policing them to make sure they’re in line with our (terms of service),” Atchity wrote on his website. “Broadly speaking, threats and hate speech will get your commenting privileges revoked.”

"The Dark Knight Rises" is the third film of Nolan’s trilogy.

Starring Christian Bale, the first two films were smash hits with fanatics and the public.

Heath Ledger won a posthumous Oscar for his role as the Joker in 2008’s “The Dark Knight.”

The Associated Press reviewer Christy Lemire dared to dissent, too, which led to Rotten Tomatoes removing comments surrounding her review, also.

“'The Dark Knight Rises’ is plot-heavy, obsessed with process, laden with expository dialogue and flashbacks that bog down the momentum and – dare I say it? – just flat-out boring at times,” Lemire writes.

Some photos I found rather strange, considering this girl was in the third row of the theater during the massacre. Look at the big smile on her face. This seems a little to convenient as a vote is scheduled soon on the U.N. small arms treaty.

Part of the caption accompanying the photos.

" Judy Goos, second from left, hugs her daughters friend, Isaiah Bow, 20, while eye witnesses Emma Goos, 19, left, and Terrell Wallin, 20, right, gather outside Gateway High School where witness were brought for questioning Friday, July 20, 2012 in Denver."

There is a girl standing behind the mother and daughter in the second photo.Seeing as she is wearing a batman shirt, I made an assumption she most likely was at the theater, and possibly a friend of the Goos. It appears to me she has a big smile in this photo. It is harder to see since I had to shrink the photo to post it. The original is here.

The guy who apparently did this was a medical student attending University.
Something doesn't sit right for me. What would drive a supposedly stable person, who was studying medicine in order heal people, to going into a packed cinema hell bent on killing every person there - Women and Children included.

If one were to look back over the past ten years, and research examine extreme fits of violence - perpetrated by an individual - I'd wager that many were seemingly 'ordinary', and without a history of violence, before they carried out their heinous acts.
