#1 Civilians dont realize when your in the military you ARE their property, like a slave.

And if your unhappy about it, guess what, tough shit.

And then what happens is you get fucked with a lot, and this dude being a Muslim being fucked with by his own soldiers, and unhappy about being in the military in the first place and not being able to get out, well you guessed it, SNAP!

The military gives a shit about its soldiers, this is a fact.

I would think these people are lucky he didnt get deployed where he would have had access to more lethal equipment. Shit imagine this guy with a few gernades and behind the barrel of a .50 cal, a lot more people would be dead.

I dont condone what he did, but I can understand how the army would warp you like that.

And spock for you to say the jihad thing, is kinda tasteless. Again that is a huge stereotype your dropping there. There are a lot of Muslims in our military who server every day.

I mean imagine if you were in the military and they sent you somewhere to kill Christians, that would fuck with you big time. I mean some people can be heartless and do that stuff, but I think that would push a lot of people over the edge.

Then you have this guy hearing all the horror stories from the dudes he is counseling. He probably had nightmares from the stories he heard every day.

Anyhow this is a sad day on all fronts, and not really something to joke about. And I will say this is as much the military's fault as it was his, because I bet you he tried to get help and such and they would have told him to drive on and probably insulted him for even asking.

Our military leadership is way fucked up. I remember when I was trained that they cared about the soldiers more, now soldiers are like disposable tampons to them.

They dont give a fuck about you, you just better follow their fucked up orders, or else.

Sad to see America come to this, but we were warned, by many people in our history that this would all happen someday. Shit look at the constitution the perfect balance of power, that gets shredded more and more every day and most Americans could give a shit about it.

So America should intern all the Muslim until the "war" is over?
Like they did with Japanese during WWII...I'm with that! Pull the bus around I got a few neighbours to put on it

Our constitution did not give our government the right to do that. the problem lied within the system it self. you should read the bill of rights and the American constitution it says alot of great things, and none included putting Japanese in concentration camps. hence why we have problems here in America.

Grab a book, read or watch anything about history and shockingly there was this thing called the WW2!!! British, Canadian, US + others (allies) versus the German & Italians + others (Axis)... majority of the people were Christians and guess what! It was Christians killing Christians in the name of there god, each side fought in the name of the same god!!!!, and I don't recall any articles, reports, or history of anyone going into a friendly base and killing 17+ of there own countryman. I don't hear of this happening in any other country in the world. Only in the glorious United States of America. So maybe, just maybe, or possibly, it might have something to the USA policies of recruitment? Don't know but just throwing that possible thought out there. What you think?

Fort Hood soldier describes horrific scene to family in Utah
November 5th, 2009 @ 10:00pm
VIDEO ON THE SITE-> http://www.ksl.com/?nid=148&sid=8572568

NORTHERN UTAH -- The news of the mass shooting at Fort Hood Thursday hit close to home for some Utahns. One man says his daughter heard the shooter exclaim "Allah Akbar" as he opened fire.

We want to stress that no government or military officials are reporting that and there is no way for us to independently confirm that it is true.

The family from northern Utah agreed to talk to us, on the condition we not identify them and blur out some photos they've supplied, because they're worried their daughter could get in trouble with her superiors for making public what she told her family she saw.

The soldier's father says his daughter was at Fort Hood Thursday when the shooting happened, and she called him, frantic and upset, soon after.

"She said, ‘Dad, I'm OK. Don't worry, I'm OK.' And initially I said, ‘What are you talking about?' She said, ‘Haven't you heard?' And I said, ‘No.' And she said, ‘We've been attacked by terrorists,'" the father explained.

He told KSL News soldiers were sitting in a staging area for medical and dental checks when the group was startled by gunfire.

"A person behind counter stood up, and he said, ‘Allah Akbar!' And just opened up on everybody," the father told us.

Again, that's what the man tells us his daughter said, but no one else is saying that and we cannot confirm whether it's true. He, himself a military veteran, says at first his daughter thought it was some sort of drill but quickly discovered it wasn't.

"It was within a second or two she realized it was real because the person right next to her was shot and killed instantly," he said.

The man says his daughter immediately fell to the ground and played dead. He says he contacted KSL because he thought people should know what happened there.

It was a difficult day too for Bev Haws, in Sandy. Her son Timothy, a staff sergeant at Fort Hood, has been to Iraq twice and is getting deployed again soon. She says she too was shaken when she heard the news and talked to her son.

"Terrified. It's like having him in Iraq when you have something like this happen. You hear something happens, and you know where he's at, and it scares you," Haws said.

Obviously, there are many more questions than answers. No doubt we can expect to learn a lot more in the coming days about the man who the military says fired those fatal shots.
