Unlike enlightenment, which is a full, irreversible awakening of the inner 'Jesus' or 'buddha-mind', brief moments of peak insight, known as satori, occur frequently on the spiritual path. Such 'ahah!' moments are often preluded by intense confusion and emotional turmoil. This spiritual tension usually triggers an intellectual breakthrough in understanding. Such a breakthrough is usually confined to a particular subject matter rather than a global enlightenment on the full reality of universal consciousness.

One assumes that such moments of satori are self-propelled. However, sometimes there are external forces which induce dramatic and sometimes cataclysmic responses in spiritual recipients who have been reluctant to evolve. Spiritually-enforced awakenings usually occur when the environment necessitates the triggering of a change. The catalyst is usually an external entity such as a 5th or 6th dimensional being who triggers the change, often during the recipients unguarded moments such as sleep, anaesthesia or inebriation. Often when we have strayed from the path, there are those 'friends' who help us see the path once more.

Sacred contracts are made not only with the living, but also with the others in the spiritual world who can also trigger conscious changes at critical times in our life's journey. These angels are as important as those angels who live with us from day to day. These angels should be respected as much as those who share our bed, our home or our workplace. They are the ones who keep your spiritual home in order while you are away, who help pay your karmic bills, and who feed the hungry friends who await your imminent return to the eternal spiritual life when this incarnation ends.

Remember - it is the angels unseen that often restore the clarity of your worldly vision. One cannot reason with evil or fight the ego with logic. Thus must consciousness seek salvation through analogy (lack of logic) in order to break through into a new domain of deeper, more inclusive knowing.
