a poem.. with an interchangeable word

I wrote this when I was going through my righteous indignation period a while back..
I'm still indignant and extremely righteous.. :mrcool:

Hope it meets with your approval.

"Battle Cry"

We were born in subjugation,
Bound and gagged, our eyes had no sight.
Unaware of the domination,
Now, it's time to stand and fight!

The hidden agenda must be told-
No more secrets kept by the few.
Our world and existence has been sold,
But, now it's time to take our due!

All our voices must shout as one:
"Enemy, leave our world now!"
The fight for existence has just begun.
Our heads no longer bow!

The hidden menace lies in wait
Preying on our fear.
Unaware of our fate,
The end is drawing near.

We must educate our minds
To set our souls free.
Our eyes, no longer blind-
Knowledge is the key.

Let this be our Battle Cry.
It's time to take a stand!
No longer do we believe the lie!
We'll drive the *Demon from our land!

(interchangeable words .. Demon=Smurf :alien:

)
