A quest for a new think-tank from the brightest DTV members
My name is Robert and my handle is Ovniac. I'm a French-Canadian living in Toronto, Canada. I'm 57 and I drink (wine and scotch) and smoke (just tobacco now). I did Woodstock and smoked with John Lennon at The King Edward Hotel in "69.
Since I have discovered Disclose, I have changed from a geek UFO fan to a scientific-minded individual that values many members that I would qualify as extraordinary. I will not name names. Suffice it to say that there is a POWERHOUSE of brain power that I want to connect with.
Rule #1: Your aspirations are PLANETARY. Die-hard Billy-Jim-Bobs with a gun-rack in the back window of your pick-up truck, please abstain. This is an attempt at a 21st Century Club of Rome, without the negative connotations.
Rule #2: You do not belong to any official religion. Let me be very clear. You don't believe in any kind of god or subscribe to any club that believes there is a god. You must be both an atheist and agnostic.
Rule #3: Your contributions are stritcly forward-thinking. Simply put, negative comments are not allowed. Don't bitch. Offer an alternative view.
Rule #4: Don't let this go to your head. You're illuminated, not Illuminati.
Now for the Fun Factor. What should we call ourselves? Who should we beg for oodles of money? Let the neurons fly!

As interesting as it may seem, it is the atheists-only rule I would have a problem with. Now I'm not part of any religion what-so-ever, and I am drawn to a higher power that does exist in the universe. I know its there. I have felt this power. And simply subscribing to science is within itself a religion. Religion is an instrument of control. Science tries really hard to distinguish itself from it, but the practice is the same. Find those that will follow, tell them the rules, and chastise those that break them.
So it cannot be a think tank. A think tank is made of up of individual members drawn together to find solutions or truths. The need to disagree on points is indeed necessary to find it. If all the members are exactly the same it is merely a clique. And no truth will be found.
So I guess I'm out.
But you see, this site is a think tank. We challenge each others view to find truth. It is in exploring our differences that will achieve this. I think John would have agreed with me.

Thank you, my friend. You are indeed correct. I only conjured rules to activate peoples' neurons. Unlike tonybigman3's negative comments, yours are forward-thinking.

Mr. tonybigman3, I don't know why you feel so targeted by my post. Calling me a "dumb ass" is exactly the type of comment that automatically excludes you from the think-tank I would like to form. This post has NOTHING to do with UFOs. I am simply looking for intelligent comments about anything AND everything. If you have something intelligent to contribute, then you are most welcome. My reference to gun-toting people reflects only my personal opinion about what the rest of the world think about your culture. If you feel hurt, then I am sorry. Just remember, this IS an international site.
Peace bro.
Peace bro.
