Hello all, a matter of weeks ago, I actually had someone disclose something to me that I did not know about but always suspected. I recently had the pleasure of meeting up with an old friend I had not seen in years. Without being prompted or asked and without knowing that I have any interest in the subject, this old friend disclosed some information about tunnels underneath London.
It turns out that my good friend had ended up working as a chef for the MOD in the mid eighties and had become privy to something generally only known to MOD staff. They worked in the kithchens at the MOD in London and, during the course of their time there, it had become necessary for them to have access to an underground tunnel system. Imagine my surprise as, without being asked about such things, or knowing that I have a vested interest in this kind of stuff, they related an account of how , they would routinely be given access to a lift that would take them down several levels underneath london. The person in question explained that, underneath London, there really is a tunnel network that links all of the main sites, Buckingham palace, Whitehall etc.
They said that the tunnels themselves could only be travered by walking (no futuristic monorail here!) and that they were old. By that I mean really old, they were described as being 'like a church' in their construction made from stone with vaulted ceilings.
This person has access to them because as a chef, they were often required to serve banquets in a part of the underground tunnel system referred to as the King Henry the Eigth room. This was a section of tunnel where a large stone table and chairs (also carved from solid stone) were situated. The chairs and table could not be moved, they were carved from stone and part of the floor.
The people who attended these banquets and meals were all members of parliament of figures that my good friend regognised as government figures or very high up military personnel. My good friend described that they were given a pass card and that the lift required a thumbprint scan to be acessed. They would then be led with the serving staff through tunnels that ran under London to this area. Many doorways and other sections of tunnel were present but were strictly guarded..
The tunnels allowed those with access to walk from lace to palce in London without having to worry about the city above.Like a giant underpass.
This network of tunnels could, at one point be accessed from what used to be the Clock tower on Hampstead heath. This was an old entrance from WW2 and has since been knocked down and replaced by a single sculpture resembling Cleopatras needle.
I know from past experience of living in London that there are actually several mysterious 'cloctowers' in parks and on heaths in London and wonder if those that are still standing are part of this tunnel network.
With regard to security, my good friend described an event where they once left their pass card in their chef unform when taking it to be washed. The following day police officers arrived on their doorstep to question them. They suspected that they were trying to give the passkey to someone else to copy and that the person in question was attempting to breach the official secretas act that they were made to sign when they started work for the MOD. All charges were dropped, but the person in question later resigned as they became worried that the same event may happen again and of the consequences they might pay.
This is the only time that I have had someone disclose information like this to me directly. The person in question is totally reliable for resons I cannot go into as not to divulge their identity. Please believe me when I say thet there is NO WAY this persons account is untrue or that it was related to me as disinformation.
Its really a weird feeling to have what you suspect confirmed in black and white by some one you know you can believe 100%. Now I know that this tunnel system exists and its very real, I find myself wondering wht else can be true. Suddenly the more outlandish claims seem possible.
Im sure this post doesnt quite convey how mid blowing this conversation was, but I can now say, with 100% accuracy that there really is a secret tunnel system beneath London and that it does link up to all the key places above London and god knows what else.
If anyone works for the MOD and knows about this, then please, fuck with my PC or my life or whatever, then I can be 101% sure about all of this.
