Since it has arms does it swallow its food whole or chop up steaks and grill them?

haha! yes i wonder if she does that
this is more likely just a composite creation as was very common in carnivals and fairs during the 1800's.
but it is known that occasional prehistoric traits of an animal can be reactivated
due to mutations in the genes ....
its not that unusual for snakes to be born with limbs or humans to be born with tails
there is an interesting ted talk i watched recently on veehd, with paleontologist Jack Horner

he explains this issue of prehistoric traits reemerging.
but it is known that occasional prehistoric traits of an animal can be reactivated
due to mutations in the genes ....
