Seeing double is normal in Cândido Godói, Brazil, where the rate of twin births is nearly a thousand percent above the global average. Not ALL of the twins look of German descent.
Could be something in the water or some specific fruit or food grown only in that area?
The interesting thing is the IDENTICAL twins thing-- identical twins are supposed to be random. Fraternal, or multiple separate eggs, is genetic and runs in families, but incidence of INDENTICAL twins is still possible for anyone to have. So it's interesting that there is a high concentration of them in one town because this random event in candido godoi seems not random. I think it would make sense if Mengele did it because of all his previous work in this eugenic type of field...
