Who said anything about a scientific journal. Its not that hard to close a thread down that is a dupe, or completely unrelated to the topic of Aliens & UFOs.

I've volunteered as a moderator for over a year, I don't get a single thanks from anyone. But I still do my job and keep everything in tidy order. If you don't enforce rules, it'll just turn into wild wild west around here. Its beginning to turn into it to slowly.

There are a huge amount of duplicate threads, or near duplicate threads. Things move pretty quickly and it's difficult to stay on top of every little thread.
