Ok, I don’t believe in ghosts or stuff like that.

Still;

The wife and I went to bed one night and after @ 10 minutes in bed someone called my name from down stairs.

A female voice, soft and warm.

She called my name twice like a mother would call her child to come in from the playground.

When I heard it, I thought I imagine things being so close to nod off.

But after a minute my wife said “did you hear that”?

Best of all, she spoke in perfect German; we are Germans living in the UK since 28 years.

No idea what it was. :peep:

Had a similar thing, except I was down stairs and the voice came from up stairs. It was like a loud whisper, if that makes sense. It called my name once, I even looked around because I was that sure that it was real. I put it down to me being a loon.
But although I am open to the idea of ghosts etc (never seen one, not that I know of anyhow), I didn't feel it was ghostly. We've had doors slamming, balls of light, pets getting really freaked and I got pinched on the back whilst in the shower - never been scared or anything though, it's an old house (120 years or so), in fact it has a nice atmosphere.

Have you had any dreams about deceased relatives in recent times?

No, nothing running at that time.

IF it would have been TV or Radio, it would have been in English right?

But the voice was in perfect German.

It did not sound threatening, it sounded nice and warm.

Also it was loud, not like a whisper more like a real person calling.

No idea what to make of it to be honest.

But like I said before, I am not religious or believe in ghosts.

As a computer programmer, I am a very rational person with both feet firmly on the ground.

I just don’t know what to make of it.

If it would just been me who heard it, fine the brain can play tricks sometimes.

But when the wife asked if I heard “that”.. that was more than odd

In 2003 my father passed away, I was living at home with him caring for him..

I was a 33yr old man and left alone with just the dog when it happened.

Anyhow, the night afterwards I had passed out in his living room chair, missing him.. 3ish in the morning I sleepily hear a woman calling my name and telling me to go to bed, sounded motherly..

Happened fr the next few nights, I'd fall asleep slumped on my bed, and hear this same voice.. Calm and reassuring...

Haven't heard it since

nothing running at the time - so items 'were' on standby/sleeping ?

But the voice was in perfect German.
- the transmission would be without restriction.

Transmission?

Transmission of what, by whom?

Ok, must admit I did not investigate, I did not even get out of bed.

Perhaps I should have, if it was a ghost I would have had a chat for sure.

The voice was just so "angelic", hard to describe.
