Good find Indiana. Curious how he zoomed in on the city and the images were relatively sharp and when he zoomed in on the object it blurred. Must have been at quite a distance and if that were true then this thing must have been massive

Its areflection of the interior cabin lights off the windows.

Note the shaking at :07-8...due to shake generated by jet engines transmitted through the panes of plastic window.

The lack of focus is because sitting right next to the window,
he cannot focus UNDER the minimum focus distance which
is generally in the neighborhood of 1 foot up to 18 inches in cameras not
standard with built in MACRO mode.

Nor would he want to if he could,
since it would be immediately apparent they are cabin lights.

Also to note..
would YOU be dead silent filming a presumed UFO flying along with you?
I think not..

but you certainly MIGHT have some internal dialogue while goofing around..
"hey that sorta looks like a ufo, lets see what i can do with it, without giving it away".

Makes sense. I understand how the light is refracted creating multiple images. Curious, are cabin lights not located overhead? His camera was was not angled up

Yes a little dialogue would have helped.
