The head of Britians armed forces has admitted that al-Qaeda will "never be beaten", in Afaganistan, after British involement in that country for nearly ten years...........the question that must follow that statement is "Why the fuck are we losing our boys and girls over there in an unwinable war?"

Shades of Vietenam here I think, but then, Vietenam didn't have oil and gas reserves that the US and it's allies could exploit - this will really boost moral of our troops and al-Qaeda can start throwing in the towel............Yes, we have been sold down the river and it's now apparant that the TPTB will start the propoganda machine to enable a withdrawal, which they will parade as 'some kind of victory' and they will cover their arse's and make money elsewhere, some new terror threat or rougue state to make sure the sheeple continue to support them.....

Yes, they could be beaten. Simply uphold your principles and prevent a police state from being created at your nation. Al-Qaeda has no plans in the long run and therefore are really a staging area for a new nation-state with another Islamic entity in power. Yes, in the final equation it will be a police state under the Islamic banner. So, know you know where the war is actually going. The creation of the Al-Qaeda threat makes room for the salvation of the Capitalist machinery with the lubrication of it by war industry. The theat is really not the war industry but this time its own creation of nuclear weapons which could be attained by any entity. The other factor is the lack of a space program to salvage the human race.

Terrorism is a tactic. Therefore, terrorism will never go away if the political factors exist in the first place. Again, to eliminate this the society would have to embrace the principles within the U.S. Constitution along with space industry. The vestigaes of the space industry could be used to eliminate many social evils.
