Dude, that was just a drinking game, like the six degrees of Kevin Bacon, trying to find the hidden theory of relativity between any two things, Albert (Bert to his friends) was really good at it after a couple shots of tequila and a few beers.
Science is truth, God is truth, therefore

God is Science.

Well you have to understand the theory isn't just one simple fact. It relates to, blackholes, the speed of light, gravity, nuclear physics, energy, matter, fabric of space, time, time travel, space travel....and a ton more.

He also said he would be proven wrong at some point after his death. The only thing he held steadfast to was the theory that nothing could go faster than the speed of light. The reason it took so long before his theories were put to the test was simply because he was so revered. No one wanted to be the person to prove their hero wrong. It was only in the latter part of the 90's that a new generation needed to pick apart his theories because if he was wrong it would mean their new radical theories were possible. Enter string theory and all the other new wave ideas.

Not every part of the theory of relativity is wrong. Some are fundamentally sound and have stood the test of time and man.

He may even turn out to be right about the speed of light but we do know that it isn't a constant since light travels slower in a dense atmosphere as opposed to the vacuum of space........so if he got that part wrong the whole thing could crumble at some point. If he is right no biggie.........the new guys have our back by finding ways around the speed of light since it isn't even the best way to travel throughout the universe. In the greater scheme of things light speed is only slightly better than rocket power. All the really good stuff starts at about 10,000 light years out and beyond so working on speed of light travel is worthless for anything more than 5 light years.

Yes very certain jones. Cause I get my info from real experts not phony nut jobs.

Everything I posted above can be checked out. I'm a giant science geek and an even bigger geek for everything to do with the universe. What I know I learned from studying real textbooks, real documents and listening to respectable people with an intellect far greater than mine.

You know I just realized something..........you're really a petty little bitch aren't you? Your greatest and actually only weapon is to be as silly and annoying as you can possibly be. I see it clearly now. I crossed you way back on slush's mod thread when you were whining and you are such a vindictive little man with the attitude of a diva( another trait related to a female) that you can't believe someone would dare take you on. I soooo got you figured out little boy.

Each will see what they want, regarding a quote.

Here's mine. :D

When you look within, and see your true self, you see the world as it really is.

Makes sense ? Only to those that interpret it in a fashion that suits themselves.

One can make up quotes that will fulfill, or satisfy somebody's needs don't you think guys. :flop:

Einstein was a genius, no doubt. Hawking and others have taken it to the next level. Any idea who the next one is? Funny how it was mentioned that Einstein got his revelations after drinking alcohol. Ein - Stein = one beer?

I'd have to say Michio Kaku, he's our string theory guy

and Ron Mallett for time travel theory...

I'm with you one hundred percent spock!

I used to dig hawking but he turned out to be so arrogant when it started being proved that not only was he wrong about his most famous work he always knew he was but still carried it out. I never realized how much he is despised in the scientific community. You want to cut him some slack because of his condition but it is only physical and not mental so you have to accept it. The guy is one of the smartest men to ever have lived it is shame he wasted so much on something he knew was faulty.

Michio is cool in the fact you know that he is willing to forgo any theory he has if something else pops up that makes more sense. That is a very rare thing with scientists at his level.

I was exposed to Mallett at about the same time I was with Michio. It was about 7 years ago on nova....before Michio became the superstar he is now. My first reaction to them was one of two men who were fringe scientists. They were interesting but nothing to take serious. Then I started seeing more things about them and realized these guys are smack dab in the middle of modern science not some fringe theorists. That blew my mind because of what it meant. These wonderful things that I had never really heard from anywhere but on the fringe actually had some firm scientific basis.
