Alchemy, the creation of elixirs
Hello, first of all a healthy and enlightenment new year for all !
I am interested in creating elixirs of herbs and such and am looking for people with experience or knowledge of this proces.
Last week I bought some basic chemistry glaswork to make a concentrate of the herbal teas I am making for the last 2 years now.
These herbal teas I am speaking of have a powerfull working on my well being and my immune system, I haven't had a flu since and I am feeling filled with energy!
My idea of an elixir is that it's a concentrate or combined concentrates of plants and herbs, you can create a concentrate by boiling down (slow proces by getting rid of the surplus of water by evaporation)
Distillation is also a way to create a concentrate by using the difference in boiling points to seperate.
There are some more processes to make a concentrate, but for alchemy/chemistry the easiest and most reliable ways are boiling down and distillation.
The "modern" heating source in chemistry glaswork is electric, induction.
I prefere to use a gas torch/burner instead of electric induction, for the fact that the alchemists never used electric induction but more of the fact that induction is an unhealthy way of heating things up, since we are gonna drink these elixirs.
And I want a powerfull elixir not just fresh herbal tea and I think that induction can have a bad influence on the proces.

Im looking forward to reactions and hoping this will be a bussy thread, sharing our experiences and knowledge.
I am doing alot of reading about plants and herbs and the ways they are used in cures.

just bump it from time to time, and you will get there attention.
Thanks, I hope people with knowledge of alchemy, herbalism, botanism and such will place posts, I am very eager to know more of these subjects.
Let's not forget Alchemy is the basics of our "modern" current science, chemistry and farmacy.

Thanks for the tip, I've read about it and know some of the ingrediënts, the thing is wouldn't it be fun and awsome to create your own elixir, whith ever ingrediënt or purpose you can imagine, a lot of the alchemy is based on pure ingrediënts and quantum mechanics(reading the Mirror of Alchemy by Roger Bacon at the moment).
I want to plant heirloom herbal seeds and no gmo crap, so also need to read up on herbalism and I got some experience on planting herbs and plants even planted 3 trees from the seed.

heya, thought i would just bump this thread as it's interesting, and a good subject.
some of the REAL conspiracies which go on around here are made to keep people dumbed down forever searching the same useless garbage for a way out of the maze. when they do not realize it is the boundaries they themselves have inflicted upon their own search which will doom them to remain within that labyrinth forever
alchemy can lift you out of this quagmire.

("it" may look different, but are you sure it's not just symmetry?
conspiracies are all the same in the long run, a perpetuation of the victim/victimisier, the "perpetraitor" and "perpetrated on") so how do we start consciously creating? by raising our own awarenesses, and transforming our ignorance into wisdom. and escaping the cycle/ box, or rather: learning to flow within the greater one!
erm, on another note: we see white red and black stones every where in video games, advertising, the use of geometry and ancient symbolism in modern appliances is an imitation of a life well lived, a homage to lost knowledge, which used to be widespread.
how did it ever get to this? and can we imagine what the future will be like, if we just let ourselves grow naturally?
1% of humanity is on the research frontier, what if we could get everyone healthy, and instead of how politicians view the mass as "something to be controlled", we could all create together? ah, the challenge of morality.
how many people actually know that modern medicine is for the most part, useless and uses extracts from plants, which, if taken in their refined essences or simply, raw, would do far more for the patient than their patented pills? not many, that's for sure.
i think a great reason so much of the conspiracy centric researchers feel so bad is because of their crappy food and eating habits, if they spent half the time researching how to eat well, and or made an elixir or two, they might see what had been staring them in the face, all along, and also, that it is not so much IDEAS or WORLD VIEWS, which depress them, but simply the state of their own body. the extension of the mind... as the saying goes [only] a healthy mind in a healthy body.
peace

pick me up on any point which i have addressed in the above written wall of text and i'll be happy to go into further detail.
you can really see in almost every aspect of our mass media driven culture how the drivel people speak of and the babble they speak with, if scrutinized, contains the seeds of something great, but it is veiled and only unveiled with study. as for schwedenbitter, lorents is a good friend of mine and i trust him so i would recommend you just buy some of that herbal tea and drink it and let us know if you get any more flus. um, i also wanted to link you some books, resources and general sites of interest.
esotericonline.net has a lot of content and free downloadable books,
you can find a big torrent on the piratebay simply entitled "alchemy", with lots of interesting short and long books,
rexresearch has a great list of stuff. dip in!
the "wooden books" series you can pick up on amazon are very short and scintillating reads on some of these topics,
robert allen bartlett's "real alchemy" details how to create some elixirs and also a lot of theory, pretty interesting, good bibliography too.
i was recently at a book shop and asked for an encyclopedia of alchemical imagery and was recommended 2 books (pictures speak more than words to me, and some are up lifting and comforting...) 1 alchemy and mysticism by Roob. 2. the golden game.
the more i study alchemy + geometry the more i see everything is sound/vibration and light and that this thing we call "reality" is actually a collectively orchestrated dream, to transcend from mere quantitative thinking into qualitative, it is necessary to understand and trust the basic principles of the universe, that they are
1. Mental and 2. responsive.
reverse the flow of entropy!
& ultimately, choose which "radio station" of the universe you wish to be tuned into.
a lot of times i have kind of had this line of reasoning going on within "well everything's #@#'d so why bother trying?'',
because, because... it's not '@~;'d, it only appears to be.
when people are in their innermost, private and alone (e.g, before going to sleep/waking up/ whilst showering/ wherever), they can make decisions or choose to feel "freedom", what if we could unleash this great euphoria and INTEREST in life, everywhere?
it's sad that we make a divide between "work and play" and play and fun are things you have OUTSIDE OF work, instead of inside.
i don't think that's the way it should be, whoever said that it has to be this way? certainly not god.
cheers for reading.
i guess i should address the main point of my ramble, as otherwise it may not seem cohesive, all of that was about this:
