I liked how he started off
Saying how 'religion' is bullshit

But then it was the way he kept saying 'god'.
I recognized that tone.

"Are you REALLY a christian", and I'm a bit confused. Most of what Cooper is saying in this series seems to be very solid, so I don't understand how he still maintains a firm hold onto the Christian faith.
It seems that the entire series destroys any validity that Christianity may have previously appeared to have. Is Cooper reading for some other translation that I'm not aware of, that doesn't have Christ being born of a virgin or dying on a cross, which Cooper points out earlier as being symbols used in earlier pagan mythology? I was very pleased with the series, but this seemingly glaring contradiction is making it difficult for me to take this guy seriously, unless there is some sort of solid justification for this. I don't mean this post to be insulting to Cooper, I'm just honestly perplexed and was hoping someone could help clarify.
