Hey guys,

I am currently taking courses for computer modeling and animation. This to me looks like two pieces of footage put together in a program like after effect. There is a person that is walking to that spot on one piece of footage, the second is something like a flare. The flare (teleportation) part is reversed, meaning the footage was brought into the composite software package and played in reverse.

Then that reverse footage is brought into the other footage and masked off and animated and you get this effect. It is similar to Rotoscoping.

It is time consuming but not overly difficult to do.

Seeing this in the t-shirt perspective (I had thought it was someone falling backwards)

All you would have to do is have a reflective surface on the shirt/tent hood/backpackpiece/etc....

Notice that the light, is actually the flashlight from the cameraman or someone next to him. As the light hits the reflective surface it scatters back, and up into the trees as you see above. This would also wash out the camera momentarily and everything else would take a moment to re-focus.

Well sure! Even just watching it, it looks like what we would expect to see perhaps.

That is the attraction to most of the ufo/alien/abnomoly sightings, because we are being given a visual treat. It's fun to trick our minds.

It loses its comedy when it tries to pass itself off as fact and truth, because it doesn't take much to add a message to the fakes and push a sense of agenda/purpose.

We should be given all data and facts about all sightings, not reporters acting bad scripts, flashing fuzzy lights, or still images being given a (wiggle .5,100) expression
