not a chance, and to be honest I think this is more western media hype then anything else.

It does not matter who is president of Iran, like it does not matter who is president of America. They are still controlled by higher people.

The opponent was obviously back up by the CIA or something, and the western media tried to play him up like the next Obama in Iran. Then Obama when and gave a speech right before the elections in the area, I dont think this was coincidence. This is all the looks of a big PSY-OP being pushed out through the media, as normal standard procedure...

Ahmadinejad has to be very careful. If the one protesting against him start uniting others he is big trouble.

Right now it has been the police who have handled the clashes so far. A good Iranian protest/movement will slap run over a police force if it comes to it. So that leaves Ahmadinejad with only one other option and that's military force......and if he is stupid enough to try it he will find out quickly what an error he made.

The Iranian military has a long and loyal relationship with the common citizen in Iran. When the american hostages were taken in the 70s by Iranian collage students the military was ordered to take over and release the hostages...........they refused.

The only way to rule in a country that isn't scared of its police force and is friends with the military is to rule them through religion. Which is why Ahmadinejad is a puppet and the Ayatollah is the real power. He would dispose of Ahmadinejad quickly if the people revolted against him in bigger numbers.

US rejects victory claim by Iran's Ahmadinejad

By CAROLYN THOMPSON – 14 hours ago

NIAGARA FALLS, Ontario (AP) — The U.S. on Saturday refused to accept hardline President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's claim of a landslide re-election victory in Iran and said it was looking into allegations of election fraud.

Any hopes by the Obama administration of gaining a result similar to Lebanon's recent election, won by a Western-backed moderate coalition, appeared to be in jeopardy.

"We are monitoring the situation as it unfolds in Iran, but we, like the rest of the world, are waiting and watching to see what the Iranian people decide," U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton said at a news conference with Canada's foreign affairs minister, Lawrence Cannon.

Minutes after Clinton spoke, the White House released a two-sentence statement praising "the vigorous debate and enthusiasm that this election generated, particularly among young Iranians," but expressing concern about "reports of irregularities."

Despite the challenge from reformist Mir Hossein Mousavi to incumbent Ahmadinejad, many officials and experts thought a Mousavi victory would result in only incremental shifts toward the U.S.

Because real power in Tehran is still wielded by religious leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, some say an Ahmadinejad re-election may make it easier to build an international consensus against Iran.

This is the time we need MAJOR infowars and propaganda within Iran to prop up the rebellions.

It's obvious the elections were a hoax because after an 85% turn-out the result was called within an hour.

Bless the people of Iran that want out from under the thumb of the Mullah and to be welcomed into this century.

I guarantee this, if there is a strike on Iran - it won't be an indiscriminate strike on a city (as their current regime would do) it would be surgical - innocents would be killed, but it would not be against a "people". When Iran attacks - it would be on a market or some other collection of society.

When I see the words "Massive" and "Rio" in the same sentence I can only think about one thing (well, 2 things, actually)...
