I would nominate my late hubby.
Allreadydead.
Simply because he cared so much about DTV. I'm sitting in our big house, at his computer, quite numb.
I really don't know what to say or feel. I'm lost.
He had good words to say about everyone here. I have created another account just to post this one reply. I would ask admin. to delete and cancel his account. Now that his son's and daughter have gone, they will return for the funeral - I am alone and sitting at a computer screen after drinking the best part of some vodka. The darkness surrounds me. It is too early to mourn and too late for regret's.
I am alone with nothing else to do, but post here. That say's it all.
I will probably return to Poland to visit my mother and I will mourn him there.
Despite what he thought of DTV, I know that no-one will REALLY care about his passing - and so I post in this thread to inform those might.
DTV has lost someone who really cared about what it stood for - and they really don't care.
Sorry, I'm now quite drunk and have no feelings left - sorry.
Eve.
'Stop all the clocks, cut off the telephone
Prevent the dog from barking with a juicy bone.
Silence the pianos and with muffled drum,
Bring out the coffin...let the mourners come.
Let aeroplanes circle, moaning overhead,
Scribbling on the sky the message: He is Dead.
Put crepe bows 'round the necks of public doves,
Let traffic policemen wear black, cotton gloves.
He was my North, my South, my East, my West.
My working week and my Sunday rest.
My noon, my midnight, my talk, my song,
I thought love would last forever: I was wrong.
The stars are not wanted now, put out every one.
Pack up the moon and dismantle the sun.
Pour out the ocean and sweep up the wood,
For nothing now can ever come to any good."
Allreadydead.

We are with you.

"Man in the world of technocracy has never yet invented anything that is not already present in nature"
Yea - I just read that in the 82 second atheist thread.
Wow. I can only take this at face value and I am truly crushed to hear the news.
I am soooo sorry to hear this Eve. May God bless you and help you through this stage of life, the hardest stage.

Hello spock - my hubby suffered a major heart attack and died.
He has gone and I weep so. I cannot even begin to describe that loss - I feel that my heart has stopped beating and I sit, alone at his computer, and wish it was not true.
But it is.
With all my heart I pray for him, I want the God that I love so much to forgive his silly ways and idea's and accept him to heaven.
For I cannot believe that the man I loved has passed into nothingness. He IS WITH GOD.
That much I know.
Sorry, I am quite drunk now and alone with such dreadful thoughts of how I wronged him.
I understand that dtv mearly lost a member, but I have lost the reason why I breathe. He had DTV as his 'home site' and loved everyone who posted, he would never say, but he's favourites were quite bizzare!
Sorry everyone, I am drunk and emotional, I am sitting alone at his computer and already missing his touch and voice - I'm sure some smart arse will pass some really bad comment about this, but I really do not care.
I'm beyond caring - I simply remember how he was.
Thank you,
Eve.
