UK Department of Health to pick up tab on Fluoride Objectors' water bills
http://www.npwa.org.uk/index.php?option ... &Itemid=54
For those living in fluoridated areas and punters who just don't want to pay their water bills, it seems almost too good to be true. During the past several weeks, NPWA HQ has received calls from perplexed fluoridation objectors throughout England. When they contacted their water company and stated that they would deduct monies for bottled water/water filters if their water was fluoridated, they were told that the water companies didn't care, because the Department of Health would pay their water bill. After reviewing the Indemnities to Water Companies section of the 2003 Water Bill, NPWA found the anecdotal reports from the fluoridation objectors were based in fact.
In essence, all that people who live in fluoridated areas have to do is write a letter to their water company stating that they are deducting money from their water bill to pay for water filters or bottled water, and the Department of Health will pick up the tab.

No worries mate, i don't have artificially fluoridated water so not something i will be doing, BUT if i did i would definetely be giving this a go. I still filter my water mind you as there are alot more nasties in it these days than fluoride, drugs and pesticides and heavy metals etc.
Why drink these when i can choose not to ? Why does anyone ?

Good job Rik, sodium fluoride does nothing to protect teeth.
My favourite brand is aloe dent, lots of natural ingredients like tea tree and coq10 and tastes amazing !

Can you get on the high street or just online.?
Cheers

Trust william.com is a good site that have it and other great aloe products.
You can get it from Holland and Barrett at the same price though, so it's upto you.

H+B stock an amazing organic raw forest honey from Zambia £3.79 if you like honey try this!!..Tropical forest it's so new it's not even on their website..

This is not really surprising. Fluoridation of the mains water supply has never been under the purview of the water boards (other than they have to physically dose the water) but has always been at the direction of the local health authority. Therefore any protests against fluoridation should be directed toward the local health authority rather than the water board (who are just following legislation and the health authority's orders).
As for toothpaste/mouthwash: I use Sarakan (also available from H&B). It is the only fluoride-free toothpaste that has BDA approval (probably because it was originally formulated by an army doctor!). Not only does it not have fluoride, but it does not have SLS/SLES, parabens, sweeteners, colours or preservatives. The active ingredient is a natural extract of the Salvadora persica or "toothbrush tree" and is flavoured with natural peppermint, geranium and clove oils!
