I still don't see an all out war on the public coming, not till this middle east shit is dealt with at least. The cops are dicks yeah, but theres more soldiers in NH than cops. Just keep clear of the riots of the cow farms and you'll be alright.

I can almost be on board with that statement Constable, except I think that giving of some freedoms for protection is not a Nazi ploy but a natural evolution, though be it unfortunate, we live in a big world full of evil people. Paranoia tells everyone to blame it on Nazis or the Illuminati, but the simple fact of the matter is, if you don't want planes being blown out of the sky, you need to beef up your airport surveillance - so people scream "They're Watching Us! Big Brother Nazis!" Etc.

All anyone has to do to wish TSA pushed their hands down their pants is to be on a plane and see someone rip a box cutter and a bomb out.

However, I'm still free to go around with an M4 in my car and a pistol in my pocket. I don't have to show papers to cross state lines, and I haven't seen any concentration camps or people being rounded up, forced to war a badge and shoved in a gated ghetto surrounded by armed guards.

People will always say we are just minutes away from that, but they have been saying that ever since I can remember.

It's constabul man lol, Tho certianly, i'm touching on the style of politics where everything is monitored or regulated. Take smoking for example, I do not smoke anymore, but it is being banned in many areas. There were elements of the nazi party that did the same.

More often then not, when people see the word nazi, they think black and red, gestapo, ovens and jews etc.
Where nazis had/have a political platform. That platform has been in practice in american politics before operation paperclip, but once that did happen. There was an infusion of the upper socialite elements that reinforced it.

As to "giving" up freedoms for protection, I do not buy into that line of thought, there always have been bad/evil people out there, there always will be.

There are ways to protect one self, and others that does not require government to be in every aspect, nor be the sole provider of security.
Yeah i do not buy into the Illuminati bs, fema camps or the like. But the Police and government services control to many aspects of personal security.
You actually lessen the grip of government regulation. Provide comprehensive training and education on self protection and firearms, and open the door to the public, we have a nation set up to protect its own. Sure you may get the wacko here and there, but after a few failed attempts people start to learn it not gonna happen.

Like the old west, it is depicted a lot more lawless then it was. There were no where near as much crime because most everyone was armed. It is also why you get stories of a hand full of bandits over and over again. They really were the few and only ones.

It would be no different in a modern sense.

You are less likely up and rob the individual next to you, if you know there is a high possibility, that they have a gun, or some other form of protection, or that the person passing by may be in the same position.
It does not mean it wont happen. But more often then not, it will not be successful.
