A friend at work brought this to my attention since he is familiar with Juarez, Mexico. This carving is on a mountainside just across the border from El Paso, Tx.

Now, this carving is in Sillbury, England

I haven't researched these yet to determine estimated age but the fact that they are nearly identical impressed me. I'm not sure if this comparison has ever been made.

Nice find. :flop:

That's quite interesting that they probably were made by different peoples of origin, and possibly even different time eras yet look so similar.

well then again, we get the same similarities in cultural history/fables, and various cultures astronomical knowledge back then, as well as calendar systems ect. So i guess it's more or less another piece to the puzzle of how the human mind works. Still mind boggling none the less. :flop:

I haven't done any checking to discover the estimated ages. If both are very old then it will be even more interesting. I'll do some research and post what I find.

Well, I did some checking and it seems the Juarez horse is a reproduction. Alas, a potential mystery dashed.
