In the latest strange twist to an already bizarre case that made headlines around the world, the woman who allegedly told police that dozens of dismembered bodies, including those of children, would be found on a Texas ranch last week says that her information came not from psychic powers but from angels.

The Houston Chronicle reported:

“The 48-year-old woman, who asked to only be identified by her nickname of Angel, said she never wanted any attention and fears the worldwide interest in the case will destroy her life if her identity is known publicly. ... Angel described herself as a reverend for a ministry that helps the poor and the homeless, and said that while she is based in Texas, she spends much of her time traveling to do God's work.”

Angel insists that she never claimed to be psychic -- only a prophet of God -- and that she did not tell police about dozens of dismembered bodies, but instead three children (who she believes are still in danger).

“I didn’t file a false report,” Angel told KHOU News in Houston. “If they make it to be false, that’s up to them, you know. ... I did what I was told to do. I followed what Jesus and the angels told me to do. It’s up to them from there. ... They [the police] up front asked me how I got the information, and I am a reverend. I am a prophet and I get my information from Jesus and the angels, and I told them that I had 32 angels with me and they were giving me the information.”

The revelation puts the whole situation in a (slightly) more plausible light. Self-proclaimed psychics usually offer information on cases that have already been publicized in the news media. It’s much more rare for psychics to spontaneously offer information about a person or incident that has not been reported, as happened in this case.

Messages from Jesus and angels, however, are another matter. In Christian theology, angels serve primarily as divine messengers and as protectors. In this case, Angel apparently believed that the information she received through prayer fulfilled both of those roles: It was a divine message from Jesus that would help protect and save endangered children.

Angel’s explanation may also seem plausible to the public; more people believe in angels than in psychic abilities. According to authors Chris Bader, F. Carson Mencken and Joseph Baker in their book "Paranormal America," polls suggest that nearly 70 percent of Americans think angels exist, 53 percent believe they have personally been saved by a guardian angel, and 32 percent claim they have personally felt an angelic presence.

There are many unanswered questions about this case, though it’s clear that Angel’s information was wrong and wasted police resources, regardless of whether its source was psychic or divine. If what she says is true, it may also raise further questions for law enforcement officials who have defended their response by pointing out that all information about crimes must be investigated.

However, if Angel did originally inform the police that her information about the missing kids (or dismembered bodies) came from Jesus and 32 angels, that might be a different matter.

I read the original story when it was reported and there was one part of the story that seems like there was something to this but the police are not talking. here is the quote im talking about.

McNair said an initial visit on Monday by Liberty County sheriff's deputies found nothing amiss, but the psychic called back and said the deputies looked in the wrong place. McNair said deputies returned later Tuesday and detected a foul odor.

Evans said investigators had "found some circumstances that have raised some questions" and a search warrant was requested. Texas Rangers arrived before 9 p.m. CT Tuesday with a warrant.

Notice the line where it says , Deputies returned later tuesday and detected a foul odor. But they never explained what they discovered.

Texas Police Chase Crime Tip from a 'Psychic'

It seems a tip from a "psychic" sent police in Texas on a wild goose chase:

A tip from a supposed "psychic" that dismembered bodies were on a rural property caused law enforcement officers to descend upon a Texas farmhouse Tuesday, but they found no bodies.
Liberty County Sheriff's Capt. Rex Evans said there was no evidence of foul play at the home.

Liberty County Judge Craig McNair told reporters at the scene about 8:15 p.m. that tips had come in Monday night and Tuesday morning from a supposed psychic of dismembered bodies on the property.

Well that's a good use of resources. Is that really considered probable cause in Texas? Or anywhere else for that matter?

After the search, Evans said that some information provided by the anonymous female tipster about the property was very specific and accurate. He said authorities would attempt to find the tipster and question her.

Now here's the weird part:

An FBI official says an evidence response team has been put on standby in case its needed, according to NBC News.

Well that's a laugh they refused to investigate the death of Michael M Mauldin.

How could they close a case on a man that did not exist in any government records anywhere?

As far as the story is concerned Rev 17. Rev 18, tells you about the USA.

I don't believe it for the simple reason that its reported on mainstream media.
This is to make you think that there are angels flying about and no matter how bad things get you will be delivered.
So Jesus and 32 angels tell a woman to go to the police,
I would imagine that Jesus would have been dubious of going to the authorities after his last encounter' that's maybe why he remained invisible so they could not Taze him, not as bad as hanging from the cross mind you.

So the media wants us to believe that Jesus the son of God went to the police and took along 32 angels and spoke through a woman
"give me a break"
Jesus the savour cant do nothing "But Report It to The Police" the same thugs who beat kids and torture people on a daily basis and who try to gain respect by brutality.

Jesus needs the help of a small town american lawman, I can't type anymore for laughing but assume if Jesus sees the police as authority who are we to argue we must all bow down and accept their authority just as the Lord did.
Strange how he never took her to a church, maybe police buildings will be the new church and they are now doing the work of god.

9 “This calls for a mind with wisdom. The seven heads are seven hills on which the woman sits. 10 They are also seven kings. Five have fallen, one is, the other has not yet come; but when he does come, he must remain for only a little while. 11 The beast who once was, and now is not, is an eighth king. He belongs to the seven and is going to his destruction.

12 “The ten horns you saw are ten kings who have not yet received a kingdom, but who for one hour will receive authority as kings along with the beast. 13 They have one purpose and will give their power and authority to the beast. 14 They will wage war against the Lamb, but the Lamb will triumph over them because he is Lord of lords and King of kings—and with him will be his called, chosen and faithful followers.”
