The purpose of this thread is to post any creature, ghost or demon that exist around the world.... but like not the generic ones..

Everyone knows Loch Ness monster, Chupacabras, and Moth man...

But how many know about La Llorona(Criying Lady)?

It is a well known legend throughout most of Mexico and South America, about an Aztec woman who drowned her children because her husband did not want to be with someone with kids... and when he rejected she committed suicide. When she reached the after-life she was questioned regarding the whereabouts of her children... she would be denied eternal peace until she had found them...

And so she wanders the bodies of water of Mexico... yelling "My children.. My children"

Another that I fail to comprehend why people still talk about is The Kiss Alley in Guadalajara, Mexico...

According to the legend this girl was forbidden from meeting with this man, for her father did not like him, so the lover solved this problem by buying the room with the balcony across from her, so they would kiss in the balcony and hold hands, one of those days, the father found out what she had been doing, and as they are kissing, proceeds to stab her... I think I liked Romeo and Juliet better lol..

Anyways to this day, kissing in this alley with you loved one... is good luck??

I think you folks get what I am trying to do with this thread, please post your own... lets get some knowledge going...

local indian legend

there is a mountain that towers over this lake.another legend tells of a giant one horned goat that comes down and punishes the folks for abusing mother nature.
the mountain is called broken tooth.
the legends i have heard all seem to be mother nature abuse oriented.
another tells of a cycle, that the natives had to steal the water from the old man.
that is the explanation as to why there are so many lakes here in this area.
these are oral stories and legends that are past down through generations.
i've heard quite a few and always got my ear for more.they are quite interesting
