EMP weapons are old stuff.

They are expensive, that's why they are not used more frequently.

Also another reason is, you cannot be 100% sure that the enemy is disabled.

Enemy can shield his equipment against this. Can't do so against a bomb.

The fact they are even showing this will give reason that there will already be contingency plans for such an event

The US Energy Directorate?

Seems black ops and Skunk Works just went mainstream.

EMP coming to a SHTF near you, soon.

BTW - AWACS planes carry a microwave system that can fry all organic organisms on the ground.

Its why they dont run it it until they hit altitude - 20-35k feet.

A good old Faraday cage will protect any electronic equipment against these types of attacks. I noticed they only used antique looking electronic and computer equipment. Microwaves are easy to defend against other wise you wouldn't have a microwave cooker in the kitchen. Just another example of the industrial military complex pursuing a useless, pointless dead end project to drain money from the government budgets to line their own pockets. They must be laughing all the way to the bank. Is there anyway of finding out what this project cost the government?

A black-hole is not a hole it's a sphere. As will be the universe when compressed into the smallest unit it can be.
