i agree with you "WE" as a species (human) will no longer be here, but the planet will remain and it will be prepped for the next intelligent life form that inhabits earth,( it could be a million years or more till something evolves or comes here from somewhere else) OUR 75-100 year life span is nothing compared to the time the universe has seen our lifes are like a grain of sand in time we are nothing if you look at the bigger picture, we are a concieted species we think evrything revolves around us , but were on a rock that revolves around another rock in a galaxy thats floating in a giant bowl of soup with other galaxy's WE AINT SPECIAL! we just think we are!
