Quote:
Are Al Gore and the IPCC right about global warming being a planetary emergency? NO! ... says the Viscount Monckton of Brenchley in a devastating 2007 lecture delivered at Cambridge University.

Watch Lord Monckton expose and eviscerate climate myth after climate myth. "Climate change is a non-problem. The correct policy to address a non-problem is to havethe courage to do nothing," says lord Monckton.

Are we blind ? - is the bizzare weather in Australia a sign of more to come?
I know so many people in the alternate community believe global warming is a scam .. but i would like to know how many of you skeptics live down here in Australia?

Somehow i think seeing is believing here ... Something majorly weird is happening with our weather here down under.

My friend just told me that South Australia has experienced its forth day over 40 degrees for 4 days in a row (thats way over 104 degrees Fahrenheit by the way!). Its a first ever on record and to match it our firefighters have had to invent a new fire warning level - the Catastrophic level! (which basically means you'll be incinerated alive if you don't run for it!)

For the first time ever we have this new fire warning being issued and scientists and firefighters have never seen such conditions and record hot day periods ever in the history of this nation!

I'm sorry but global warming isn't a scam - its real and its already here - period!- sorry to wreck your conspiracy theories! But all of you who live in europe and north america and colder areas you probably won't realise how bad things really are until its too late.
(Also remember disinfo = don't disprove just confuse with doubt - thats what's happening with the global warming topic at the moment).

I mean just look at these new warning boards going up in all Australian Towns - isn't that enough to get you thinking .. 'hey something must be going wrong with our environment if they have had to create an entirely new warning level' - Its no joke, the new 'catastrophic level' means bushfires in Australia will become unprecedented carnage scenes:

k when you have governments funding experiments for the last 50 yrs which directly effect our oceans and atmosphere its not so hard to believe the global warming scam. And not to meantion it is a natural cycle for the most part. And it is not news . Aswell as the fact that it gets really warm before it gets really cold.
And i would also like to point out why a government(s) would create the fear of global warming to lean in there favor....To prevent third world countries from becoming industrialized, to prevent them from prospering into developong countries , to prevent them from using their limited natural unrenewable resources. the list goes on.
My point is global warming for the most part is natural. like 99% natural. Do the research for yourself and dont take what some runner up says to be true.
I believe the seriously crazy weather and related phenomena is nothing new . aside from the 1% i was refering to earlier which i believe can be directly related to the experiments going on in the ionisphere and the many other experiments over the last bunch of decades. which cant be helping this NATURAL CYCLE. Which gives us another reason governments would scare us with this global warming shit. to reverse the condition enough to continue their experiments.
Or perhapes its they were always aware of this problem and tried to fix it decades ago and in the process sped it up. who really knows.
Global warming is true. What is not true is the reasons they say are causing it.

A heat wave is blamed on 'global warming'. The northern hemisphere is experiencing a rather cold snap, and it's called weather? Honestly. It can't work both ways.

Well, I just ran across that and thought I'd throw it into the mix.

But here are my real views if you're interested:

1) OK, it's pretty obvious there's been some data spin, at the very least, by some scientists. It's wrong, and it pisses me off. It clouds the whole debate (no pun intended) while undermining the scientific process. I've had to really re-evaluate my position on the issue and not just because of these leaked emails. It seems that scientists have also been pressured and used by the PTB.

2) It's also obvious that much of the debate is political, and that yes, there does appear to be an "agenda" (or agendas, plural) besides saving the planet, which makes the science aspect even more questionable.

However,

I think it's dangerous to dismiss the possibility that there are negative effects of our polluting and, yes, carbon-spewing.

It does seem that with my own eyes (like those poor bastards in Australia) I have seen radical changes in climate in the 5 decades I've been alive and I trust my own conclusions more than any scientific study or political agenda.

Sure, it could be natural cycles.

But can any politician, scientist, or anyone tell me for SURE whether it's man-made or not?

I don't think so.

So it seems we are back at square one. It does seem the carbon-trading scheme is a useless idea, at best...

And now it's hard to believe ANY scientist or pundit on either side of the debate.

I just hope a new understanding can come out of all this mess, and I hope we stop polluting and consuming so much, even if "climate change" is a false alarm ...

I'm with cornbread on this one... I think there isn't enough evidence to blame us for what is happening. If there were, where is it? Show it to us....

My belief is... The earth has been around a long time, we still do not understand the cycles of earth and who is to say this isn't a normal pattern for earth, just because it is not normal for us?
